At the EUROVAN planning centre in Mannheim, moves are coordinated and planned to ensure best use of trucks, best use of space and therefore reduced costs, and there less environmental damage.
Overseas
As a member of The FIDI Global Alliance, a network of international removal companies, we have partners all over the world to help us organise your relocation. With more than 500 members around the globe, we have the know-how that is required to safely bring your goods to your new residence. This network makes it possible for us to organize your move into Germany from any other country as well.
By means of the international moving industry only quality management programme, the FAIM (FIDI Accredited International Mover) certification, FIDI members' services are regularly audited by independent quality assessors.
Air Freight
Whether it is personal effevts only or your complete shipment, we can organise the packing and air transport of your removal goods. We can also take care of the safe transportation of your pets. Our partners around the world will receive your shipment, arrange customs clearance and deliver to your new home. If you are returning to Germany, we can arrange your return shipment.
Transport Insurance
In addition to the basic legal liability cover required in Germany, we can offer additional "all risks" insurance cover whilst your goods are in our care, either in transit or in storage. We can arrange cover for everything you own or for individual items. Enhanced levels of cover will give you that reassuring feeling!
Relocation Service
In a more mobile age, moves are often for professional reasons. The employee who has to move needs to have opportunity to be at work immediately after their arrival at the new destination. Our Relocation Service will be happy to help with visa / work permit requirements, schooling, finding a new house or apartment, registrations, and adminstrative formalities. This assistance can be given at the old location or in the new location.
Packing Material
Shipping of your removal goods is done in 20', 40' or 40' high cube shipping containers. If the volume is smaller, your goods will be shipped in overseas crates, called Liftvans. The demands on packaging fit for export are high because your removal goods are exposed to other "forces" when they are transported by sea than transported by overland routes. Besides removal cartons in different sizes our qualified employees use wrapping tissue, packing paper, carton blanks, bubble wrap, paper mats, foam chips and custom-made wooden crates for professional packaging. For transporting your removal goods we only use crates ("Liftvans") which are compliant with ISPM 15 (International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures) according to the IPPC standard (International Plant Protection Convention).
